Contact enquiries

Octo Solutions Limited is responsible for the information you provide through this website. The contact form asks for your name, email address, subject and message. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and related follow-up, not for marketing. Your address is included as the reply address in an email delivered to the company inbox through Azure Communication Services.

OctoHome does not maintain a separate database or archive of contact messages, and the contact handler does not log message content. Emails are handled in the company mailbox and kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and related follow-up, taking account of any legal record-keeping requirements. We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and protecting the service.

Spam protection

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help reject automated abuse. Cloudflare and the hosting provider may process technical information such as IP address, browser details and request information to operate and protect the service. Turnstile does not receive your enquiry text. Read the Turnstile privacy information and Microsoft privacy statement for details of these providers’ processing.

To limit repeated enquiries, we temporarily keep timestamps and protected identifiers derived from the reply address and enquiry. These counters contain no names, readable email addresses or message text. Entries stop counting after 24 hours and are removed on the next accepted reservation. When the counter store is idle, Azure’s expiry policy requests deletion after two days; deletion runs asynchronously.

Theme preferences

If you choose a light or dark theme, that preference is stored in your browser. You can clear it through your browser’s site-data settings.

Website statistics

When enabled, we use aggregate statistics solely to understand and improve OctoHome’s pages, performance and links. We do not use them for advertising, profiling or tracking you across the Octo apps.

Statistics are on by default in each browser whenever collection is enabled, unless the visitor opts out. We keep that objection only in the browser; individual choices are not reported to OctoHome administrators.

• Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits, page views, popular pages, referring sites and performance without analytics cookies or fingerprinting. Cloudflare processes technical request information to provide these statistics. Its documentation describes seven days of unsampled beacon data, followed by longer-term sampling, and access to the previous six months of data in its dashboard. Read Cloudflare’s analytics FAQ and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
• Our private Azure counters record clicks on “Launch app”, “Visit website” and contact links. They store daily totals, public project identifiers and destination categories, with a minute total to limit abuse. They store no visitor identifiers, IP addresses, form values or individual click records. Totals are retained for 180 days, then Azure’s automated expiry requests deletion; deletion runs asynchronously.
• Google Search Console gives us aggregate Google search clicks, impressions, queries, rankings and indexing information. It does not add a tracking script to this website.

Statistics are approximate recorded activity. Repeated clicks, blockers, failures and throttling affect coverage. Opening a contact link does not mean an enquiry was sent.

You can object to optional website statistics at any time using the control below. We store only that choice in your browser, stop sending click counts immediately and reload this page so Cloudflare’s analytics script is no longer loaded. The choice applies on subsequent visits in this browser. Hosting and spam-protection processing described above continues to operate the service.

If a contact form is open in another tab, we keep it in place and stop statistics in that tab until you leave the form. We do not copy your form values into analytics or browser storage to handle this preference change.

Other Octo apps

Links from OctoHome may open independent app websites. Each app’s own privacy information applies to its use, accounts and stored data. Visiting this company website does not move your existing app data.

Questions and requests

Use the contact page with “Privacy” as the subject to ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion. You can also object to processing or ask us to restrict it. These rights depend on the circumstances. You can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
